1. Choose a 2-digit number.
2. Multiply the number by 3.
3. Divide by 2.
4. Move the decimal point one place to the left.

HOW TO RENAME WINDOWS FOLDER TO SPACE (EMPTY CHARACTER)

Renaming windows folder to space, empty or funny character is really interesting if you are the type of person who loves to play with windows folder. When you do this, the folder invisible without hiding it.

You can easily rename the folder to " " (space). You can't rename a folder to space right away. You have to RIGHT CLICK ON THE FOLDER and SELECT "RENAME" and get rid of the previous name and then you have to HOLD THE "ALT" on your keyboard and TYPE 255 in the number pad. i.e. You type (ALT + 255). Finally, press enter and your folder name will be changed to space.

It is not over yet... Still, folder icon shows up with the folder attached to a wired name (space).

Now, we want TO GET THE FOLDER ICON AWAY. That's simple, just RIGHT CLICK ON THE FOLDER, GO TO "PROPERTIES", SELECT CUSTOMIZE, CLICK ON "CHANGE ICON". The makers of windows OS seemed to have thought about this. You'll see three blank icons, I have no idea why these blank icons are there, SELECT ONE OF THEM and CLICK ON OK and then APPLY it. Done. Now, your folder should be invisible.

Wait a minute... Still, that blank line looks bad with other folders... Just double click on the Name and sort the folder list. Yeah, you're through! You've successfully renamed your folder to space and hidden it at the same time.

HOW TO INCREASE COMPUTER SPEED

Don't worry, with this trick I'll be sharing with you, you can use a small part of your computer's Hard disk as Virtual RAM, i.e. Random Access Memory. Follow these simple steps.

1. Start up your computer
2. Open "My computer"
3. Go to "properties"
4. Click on the "Advance" tab
5. Under "Performance" section, click on the "Settings" button
6. Now, note to the "Advance" tab.
7. Under "Victual memory" section, click on the "Change" button
8. Now select Drive "C"
9. Select the "Custom size" option
10. Set the Initial size (MB) to whatever you want 5000 for 5MB, 2000 for 2MB, and so on. But at least, set it to 2000
11. If you Set Maximum Size to 5000 for
5MB it means 5MB of local disk will be used as virtual memory. But it's better to keep it as high as you can before.
12. Click on the "Set" button.
13. Perform this with all other driver also.
14. Click on "OK" button
15. Again Click on "OK"
16. Click "OK" again.
17. Restart your computer.

That's all! You'll see the effect almost immediately after you restart the computer. Congratulations! You have increased your computer speed! Explore your computer and see the wonder!

I'm sure that whenever you are chatting on 2go and you decide to upload a new picture you have to wait for the picture upload to be completed before you continue with your chat. while your picture is uploading just press zero0 on your keypad. A shortcut containing the following menu listed below will appear on your phone screen.

2. 2go rooms
3. Active chats
4. Get go credits
5. Change presence
6. Sound off
press 3 on your keypad and you would be taken back to your chat page.
Meanwhile your picture will be uploading in background.
Note that you can press any other of the specified numbers to perform another function as indicated in the menu list.

HOW TO FORMAT SYMBIAN PHONES

Before I teach you how to format symbian phones, there are some things I would like you to understand.
If you are a symbian phone user, and you discover that your mobile phone is acting abnormally, for example, if it takes a long time to load files, process your data, automatically restarts, and so on, it may be that the phone has got virus. And you know the impact of virus on phones, they can destroy and eat up your files when you least expect, and so, there is a need for you to format such phone or else, you may have to regret later.
The process of formating a symbian phone is not as difficult as some people think, infact, you don't have to take your phone to repairers to do that for you. All you just need to do is to:

first of all, make sure the phone is switched off

press and hold the following keys on the keypad, star (*), the number 3 and the send button i.e. call button

while still holding these buttons, switch on the phone.
Once you switch on the phone, formatting starts, don't leave the key combinations until your phone is done with the whole process. Now your phone should be functioning as good as a new one. Please note that this formatting process works on only symbian phones, I tested this on my nokia 6120c before posting. if you are using a java phone, all you need to do is to restore factory settings and if symptoms of virus or whatever problem still persists, you'll probably need to contact a phone engineer.

HOW TO HIDE A FOLDER IN YOUR MOBILE PHONE

Have you ever experienced a situation whereby you give your mobile phone to someone, probably, a friend, and the person mistakenly delete an important folder where you kept files that are very precious to you? If it has never happened to you before, well, it has once happened to me, a friend of mine once mistakenly deleted a folder where I kept most of my mobile software ranging from opera mini browser, lots of symbian applications to many other things. I couldn't cry that day. Hmmm! Well, it's been a while from now anyway... In order to protect some of your important files that you keep in your mobile phone, I will be sharing a trick with which you can hide folders containing important files on your phone. You can retrieve the folder with another trick to view your files whenever you need them. This trick can be used on Nokia phones, Motorola, LG and other phones which support java. So, if your phone doesn't support java applications, I'm sorry, this trick may not work on it.

Now take your pen and let me show you the trick on how to hide folders in your mobile phone!

Create a new folder, or you can use an existing folder which you want to hide
(folder containing the important files you want to hide)

rename the folder to any name of choice but put a .jad extension e.g. If you decide to hide your movies folder, you can name your movies folder as movies.jad

Now, create a new folder with the same name in the same directory but with .jar extension i.e. The second folder will have the extension movies.jar

That's all, you're through. Your original movies folder which you named as .jad gets hidden and only the folder with .jar is visible and when you open it, it is empty. All the files in the original folder are hidden!

In order to unhide the original folder, just remove the .jar extension from the visible folder and your real folder with .jad extension becomes visible.

HOW TO BLOCK UNWANTED EMAILS FROM ENTERING YOUR MAIL BOX

There are so many times you check your email box and discover there are so many unpleasant messages from people you don't even know. To make things worse, these emails are spam, irritating offers and useless newsletters, probably from your various subscriptions on the web or from the forums you've joined. Worst of all, these mails are entirely of no relevance to you and now you can't get to read mails from your friends again! Now you are thinking of closing the email account and opening another one. Don't worry, you don't have to close your email, I'm going to give you some tips on how you can stop those useless mails from trooping into your mail box ok?
With the tips, you can block individual email addresses, or even the entire domain from which you do not want to recieve mails. Ok, let's get started.

For Gmail users

Log into your gmail account

At the top right corner, click on mail settings (if you're on mobile, and cannot see it, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on view html)

under mail settings go to filters, you'll see an option create a new filter, click on it.

in the from field, type the email address which you want to block from sending you mails. For example, you may enter preachers@gmail.com in the from field to block all emails from the address, but if you want to block all the mails from a particular domain, then use this syntax: *@abc.com and all the recieved email from the domain abc will be blocked. where abc can be any email domain e.g. Yahoo, gmail and so on.

Click on the next step and select the exploit you would like to take on the blocked emails. You may choose the option to delete the blocked mails if you wish. if you later change your mind and feel like unblocking the nails, all you need to do is just to delete the filter you made


For yahoo mail users

Log onto your account

At the top-right corner,
click on options

A drop down menu will appear, click on more options

In the left panel, click on the filters options

Next, click on create or edit filters

Click on add

Give a name to your filter, in the From header field, type the email address you'll like to block. E.g. Preachers@gmail.com and if you want to block an entire domain, just type the domain name in this format *@abc.com where abc can be any domain name e.g. Yahoo, hotmail, etc.

Click on the option move the message to trash

Click on Save changes


For Hotmail users

Log into your account

At the top-right corner
click on Options

A drop down menu will
come then click on more options

Click on safe and blocked senders
link under junk email

Now click on Blocked
senders

Type in the e-mail
address that you want to
block under blocked e-mail
address or domain.
For example: Enter any email id@yahoo.com to block
the e-mail address or just
enter xyz.com to block the
entire domain.

Save your settings

Now you're through, those foolish mails are no where to be found, infact, they can't even come into your mail box again! Your mail box is now free and clean!

If you want materials that are authentic, from educational institutions like universities and so on and not just anyhow materials, there's another feature known as the scholarly search. All you need to do is to specify like this how to repair a computer filetype:pdf site:edu the results will still be on the title you specified but will be narrowed to those from educational institutions.

MEANING OF ANY WORD

Yes, you can use the google search engine to get the definition of any word you like by just using the define command in the google search bar, here is an example, define:photosynthesis
you may be wondering, can't the dictionary I have do that? Of course it may be able to but is there any trick that can fetch the meaning of words like some sms language e.g. "LOL" or abbreviations e.g. "PDF" or jargons e.g. Web 2.0 from the dictionary? But you can get them with this google trick.

I shared it with some of my friends too and it also worked, and so, I see no reason why the same trick should not work for you when it's actually working for many others. Let's not waste much time, in order to get 1100Go credits on 2go with just N30 all you need to do is to follow these simple steps:

launch your 2go application

log into your 2go account

go to profile

go to edit and scroll down until you see 'GET GO CREDIT' then click on it

after you've clicked, you'll see
'300 gocredit (30NGN)',
'550 gocredit (50NGN) and
'1,100 gocredit (100NGN)

At this point, you'll apply a simple trick, just go to 1,100 gocredit for 100NGN you will see 'send text message' select 'NO' and then you go back to '300 gocredit (30NGN) and click on it, now you can click on 'allow to send text message' That's it! If you check your go credit, you'll discover that you've been credited with 1,100 go credits instead of the usual 300. Similarly, using the same trick you just learnt to use now, you can get 3,300 go credits with just N90 by just following the same step.

when you are done with the typing, go to the beginning of the area where you want to write in blue

type or paste this code "@[1: ]@@[1:[0:1:" before the section you want to indicate in blue (without the quote because I know you're a copy cat and may also copy the quote)

move to the area where you want the blue text to stop and paste "]]"

Now here is an example, you can copy and paste it on your wall to test how it works...

On the new page loaded, you will see different video formats with which you can download your video, some of the formats you'll see are ".mp4 .3gp .flvetc. Select any format you'll like but I'll advice you to choose mp4, then...

Your opera mini browser will ask you to choose a folder in which you'll like to save your video, choose any folder you'll like and then... Download the video

Watch the video or delete it without watching lol
